Visual Markets Desk
Visual Markets Desk is the private workspace of Visual Markets teams and partners. Each project keeps its team, calendar, tasks, chats, trading accounts and working notes in one place: in the browser at desk.visual.markets, or as an app on your computer.
Access is by invitation only: our administrators create the accounts, and every change is recorded. Everyone can start projects of their own, for their own plans or with a team they invite.
What it does
Projects and tasks
For every project: active tasks with due dates, a backlog and a done list, with notes and attachments.
Calendar
Meetings and other events with organizer, participants (team members and external people), location or meeting link, and notes. My calendar shows the events of all your projects in your own time zone.
Chats
One-to-one chats and a chat for every team project, with pictures, files and @mentions.
Trading accounts and ledgers
Venues, their trading accounts and instruments; each account can link one of your ledger accounts, where entries are never edited or deleted, only corrected.
Licences
For our products, such as Trading Arena: your subscription, your workstations (the servers its core runs on) and the downloads of its versions.
Your own calendar, if you want it
Connect your Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar in My account, and choose what to copy:
- the Visual Markets events you take part in, into your calendar;
- your calendar's events for the coming days, into a project of yours: one only you can see, or one you lead with your team.
As the organizer of an event, you can have your connected calendar send its participants the invitation. If you allow meeting links, the event dialog can create a Microsoft Teams or Google Meet link with your account and put it in the event's location.
How we use calendar access
Connecting a calendar is optional and serves only the features above. You grant the access at Microsoft or Google (Visual Markets Desk never sees your Microsoft or Google password), the app uses it only while you stay connected, and you can disconnect at any time in My account.
- Microsoft: your calendars and their events (read and write), your email address, and access while you are away so that copies stay up to date; for meeting links, creating online meetings.
- Google: your email address, the list of your calendars, and your calendar events (read and write); for meeting links, creating Meet spaces.
We never sell calendar data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial-intelligence models. The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Private by design
- Sign-in with a password, a passkey (fingerprint, face or PIN), and if you wish a code from an authenticator app.
- Permissions per project, and an activity log of every change.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking.
